In 2004, Kappa Kappa Gamma announced Reading is Fundamental (RIF) as our national philanthropy. RIF works to build a literate nation by helping young people discover the joy of reading.
The Zeta Chi chapter is also involved in local philanthropies such as hosting an Easter Egg Hunt to The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie. This non-profit agency is "dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children and their families in the Hudson River Region."
